Example Creative Crew Timetable
* Use only as a guide. Timetables change depending on venue, facilities available and weather. Creative Crew will also go swimming everyday where the venue has a swimming pool. All children have the choice of completing a width test to demonstrate their ability to swim in the deep end of the pool. Otherwise they remain in the shallow end.
** The end-of-week show typically kicks off at 4pm and lasts for 30 minutes on the last day of every camp event (mostly Fridays but sometimes Thursdays if a four day week). Parents, friends and family are advised to arrive by 3:55pm to get seated in the theatre.
Let’s hear from the Creative Crew…
One half of the Creative Crew! Jazz enjoys all the different themed art & craft activities and designing her very own t-shirt to wear in the end of week performance!
“I’ve met some new friends from different schools, and I can’t wait to come back and meet them in the next school holiday. I’m thinking of becoming a fashion designer when I’m older because I created a fab t-shirt that takes pride of place in my wardrobe at home!”
He has tried out the Creative Crew for the first time and has found new talents he didn’t know he was good at. Justin has choreographed his own Hip Hop dance routine and baked some chocolate chip muffins that his parents are going to sample when they get home.
“I wasn’t sure what to make of being in the Creative Crew, but by the end of the week I was leader of my dance troop, performing my hip hop dance spin on stage in front of an audience a hundred strong. I’ve found new confidences to continue this passion throughout the year!”
To make sure the experience is different throughout the year we provide a different theme each school holiday week (i.e. Halloween in October Half term, and Spring in Easter Holidays). The arts & craft, dances, songs, cooking and games are all based around the theme of the week. Click the image below to check out some example themes in more detail:
The week always culminates in a themed show performance on the Friday afternoon, with a chance to perform on stage in front of Mum, Dad friends and family!
