Here at School’s Out Activities we know how important and paramount the safety of your child is. That is why we provide a complete Peace of Mind for all parents and guardians so you know your child is having fun in a safe and secure environment.
EARLY YEARS OFSTED REGISTRATION
School’s Out Activities are proud to be Early Years Ofsted registered at all of our prestigious venues. We are registered for Early Years childcare at all venues meaning we can take any child who is between 4 – 16 years old. Four-year-olds must be going to school (that is turning 5 within the academic year by August 31st).

We’ve received glowing feedback in our Early Years Ofsted reports and can’t wait to share them with you. Ofsted no longer provide an actual grading for School Holiday Clubs as part of their visits (it is now simply Met or Not Met), but we feel the comments are Outstanding nevertheless! SAFE AND SECURE
We follow the strict guidelines laid out by Ofsted that ensure a fantastic and safe environment for your children. These include:
- Excellent staff : children ratios
- Staff with the latest qualifications in childcare, paediatric first aid and safeguarding.
- All staff DBS and reference checked as part of safer recruitment.
- All policies & procedures and extensive site & activity risk assessments completed and updated yearly.
ALL STAFF DBS & REFERENCE CHECKED
We complete all employment checks as part of safer recruitment.
FULL CHILDCARE ACTIVITY INSURANCE
We hold full employers, public and activity liability insurance from the childcare specialists, Morton Michel.
SAFEGUARDING TRAINING
We put all members of staff through Safeguarding Level 1 training, whilst we have Designated Safeguarding Leads on hand to ensure all safeguarding aspects are looked after.
ONSITE LIFEGUARDS & FIRST AIDERS
We have lifeguards poolside issuing pool safety rules and completing width tests to ensure swimmers can go in the deep end. All Early Explorers are kept in their depth in the shallow end. Paediatric first aiders on site ensure children are looked after in every event.
ALL ACTIVITIES RISK ASSESSED
All activities and site facilities are risk assessed to keep children having fun in a safe environment. Adventurous activities are delivered by national governing body qualified instructors.
