WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR COLCHESTER CAMP
Colchester’s most popular activity camp provides year-round school holiday cover operating all Half Terms, Easter and the long Summer Holidays!
From swimming and archery, cookery and dance, there is something new for everyone to try out. All of our day camps designed for children aged 4-16 years are offered during the school holidays. Highlights include:
- Outdoor swimming pool opens during May Half Term and throughout the Summer Holidays.
- George Young Performance theatre showcasing end-of-week shows for parents and families to watch.
- Full use of landscaped playing fields, cookery rooms, art rooms, sports hall and lots more.
- Create new friendships with children across the county.
CAMP LOCATION
School’s Out Activities use the back entrance (off Creffield Road) to Colchester Royal Grammar School as this has access to the large car park. There will be School’s Out banners on display of the entrance and directional signs once you turn into the entrance to direct you to the car park and day camp drop-off points. We make dropping off and collecting really easy with our efficient one-way system in the car park.

Both my daughters went to the Colchester School’s Out for the first time during the Easter break. I was really nervous putting them both in, especially as they had to be split up due to their ages – but I needn’t have worried. My youngest absolutely loved it and if she did have any reservations, the camp manager Miss White soon got rid of those with her bubbly and super personable self, ensuring my daughter felt included, safe and loved. Likewise, my eldest absolutely loved Creative Crew, being able to do a talent show every week! Such a lovely holiday club, won’t use any other now.
