AFFORDABLE SCHOOL HOLIDAY CHILDCARE

With a variety of payment methods to suit your family's plans and premium childcare from as little as £4 per hour, we offer a trusted service you can rely upon!

AFFORDABLE AND COMPETITIVE DAY CAMPS

We aim to keep our prices affordable and competitive to make our services accessible to as many families as we can. We offer 5-star rated Ofsted-registered childcare with the best facilities, the most experienced staff, the most premium equipment, and the most amazing activities!

Varying Prices

We operate a variable pricing model, where each day of camp is charged differently. Price will be determined by the day of the week, demand, venue, and activities offered (venues with a pool typically cost more as the cost to heat a swimming pool has drastically increased). Price will also increase the closer we get to the start date of camp events, to reward customers who book and pay earlier. The earlier we know the amount of children on roll, the more time we have to plan staffing required and resources to purchase!

  • Individual days start from only £35 per day. These will typically be Fridays as these are the least popular across the week.
  • Other days will range from £35-£45 per day for our normal times (9am – 5pm). Extra hours (8am – 6pm) can be added independently.
  • You will be able to see how much each day is when you go to make your booking, and your Cart will be updated accordingly when you add dates and products into it.

BOOK A WHOLE WEEK AND SAVE 20%

We feel the best experience for children is to come to camp for the whole week, to try out all of the activities we have on offer, and make lasting friendships with fellow campers. Friendships blossom and children’s confidence grow over the course of a week. That is why we always offer our best deal for customers booking a whole week (Monday to Friday).

  • Book whole weeks and automatically receive 20% off your weeklong price!

Reliable, trusted and fantastic childcare from only £4 per hour if booking for the whole week!

COVERING THE FULL WORKING DAY

We appreciate parents have to go to work so we will be open from 8am – 6pm to cover the full working day. We also appreciate some parents will need early drop-off, some will need a late pick-up, and some will need both. That is why we allow you to add on Early Bird drop off and Extended Fun pick up individually each date you require them. If you require them the whole week we again provide you with a saving (5 sessions for the price of 4!)

  • Early Bird drop-off from 8am – 9am (£5 per day OR £20 for the whole week)
  • Extended Fun pick-up from 5pm-6pm (£5 per day OR £20 for the whole week)

These can be added on at booking or each day at camp in the event of having to stay late at work for example!

  • Protect your booking against illness, injury and missed dates with Booking Protection Cover for just £5 per day per child. Click here for more information.

Pay later options

  • GOV.UK TAX FREE CHILDCARE

Our most popular form of payment from parents, as if you are eligible you get 20% paid towards the cost of School’s Out bookings throughout the year. Simply make your reservation, organise payment from your Gov.UK Tax Free Childcare account, and we will do the rest!

    Your eligibility depends on:

    – if you are working

    – your income (and your partner’s income, if you have one)

    – your immigration status

    – your child’s age and circumstances

    – your child must be 11 or under and usually live with you. They stop being eligible on 1 September after their 11th birthday.

Our Gov.UK registration numbers are as follows: (Colchester 50013966049, Ipswich 50019042914, Bury: 50060571446, Felixstowe: 50104809531, Shenfield: 50111303338.  Woodbridge 50024554979.

    – Chelmsford and Braintree venues are in the process of registering, use either Ipswich or Colchester account for now, it all arrives into the same bank account)

    • CHILDCARE VOUCHERS

School’s Out Activities can receive Childcare Voucher payments from all voucher providers. Simply log on to your voucher provider and search for our business name, postcode, or Ofsted registration number to find our account. Click here for more info on Childcare Vouchers.

    • ONLINE BANK TRANSFER

Simply register our account details with your online banking system and include your booking reference number when making a transfer payment:

The Bank details will be provided to you once you make your booking.

    • INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

If paying from a foreign bank account you will also need our BIC and IBAN details to complete your transaction:

The Bank details will be provided to you once you make your booking.

    • CASH AT MORNING RECEPTION

You can pay any remaining balance by handing over the correct amount of cash at morning registration. The full amount must be paid in the morning before we can accept children at camp. This flexible method is handy for those last minutes late additions.

    • DEBIT/CREDIT CARD ANYTIME

If you have any remaining balance to your booking then you can pay the full remaining balance anytime. You can also choose how much you pay off your booking each time so you can create your own payment plan by clearing regular amounts of your booking:

Click MY BOOKINGS  >  click the red button “Pay remaining balance by card”. By default it will ask for the full amount, but you can overwrite this with any amount you want to clear from your booking.

    • CHILDCARE GRANT PAYMENT SERVICE (CCGPS)

For those parents studying at University, you may be entitled up to 85% of your fees with School’s Out to be paid via the childcare grant payment service (visit here). Initially you have to link your child(ren) to our venue accounts. You then make your booking on our website as normal, making sure to choose “Other Method” and then select CCGPS from the dropdown menu. This will trigger an email to us to ensure we claim for 85%. All we ask is you pay 15% of your booking total to us using one of the manual payment options (bank transfer or cash at morning registration – unable to do this via debit/credit card unless you phone customer services).  Once camp is finished we will confirm on the platform the attendance of your child which will trigger an alert back to yourselves, for you to authorise those days. This then generates the payment to us so we can mark your booking as fully paid. For more info on this service visit the Gov.uk website here

Cash/card payments upon arrival are also accepted. You can check the outstanding balance and add/edit booking details until the day before camp via your My Bookings page.

Should you need to cancel your booking, please refer to our cancellation policy in our terms and conditions. Alternatively, you can reschedule your booking for free! Find out how on our Info page.
